Ethernet End Station

An End Station in a Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) network is a device that sends and/or receives time-critical data. It can interface directly with sensors and actuators, or act as a gateway bridging legacy protocols—such as SPI, I²C, CAN, and LIN—to the TSN Ethernet network. End Stations play a key role in enabling deterministic communication and are widely used in automotive, industrial automation, avionics, and defence applications.

Comcores offers a family of End Station Controller IPs tailored to meet varying performance needs and TSN feature requirements across a wide range of end station applications. The product family includes an area-optimized 10 Mbps version, ideal for applications that require basic connectivity and time synchronization and a high-performance 2.5 Gbps version, designed for more demanding use cases.
