Zonal Controller
A complete automotive TSN solution — integrating a TSN-capable Ethernet switch, Root of Trust security, and IEEE 1722 protocol encapsulation for audio, video and legacy serial communications in one IP core.
Overview
A critical network node for next-generation Software Defined Vehicles — connecting sensors and actuators to the central compute ECU over a TSN Ethernet backbone.
The Automotive Zonal Controller is designed to support the zonal architecture approach in next-generation Software Defined Vehicles (SDV). This architecture facilitates efficient in-vehicle data distribution while reducing wiring complexity, cost, and weight — streamlining vehicle design and manufacturing. It plays an essential role in delivering real-time, reliable, and scalable communication for ADAS, autonomous driving, and electrified powertrain systems.
The Comcores Zonal Controller IP integrates a TSN-capable Ethernet switch, a Root of Trust security module, and a transport protocol encapsulation system based on IEEE 1722 for handling audio, video, and legacy serial communications. Acting as a gateway, it bridges audio (I2S), video (CSI-2, SERDES), and serial peripherals (SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN) with the in-vehicle Ethernet backbone.
The solution connects to embedded processor systems through an AXI Memory-Mapped interface for Ethernet frame exchange and an AXI4-Lite interface for management and configuration.

Omni500 – Configurable evaluation and prototyping platform
The Omni500 is a configurable evaluation and prototyping platform for deterministic Ethernet systems from 10 Mb/s to 1 Gb/s. It combines TSN networking, multi-speed Ethernet interfaces, and field buses into one compact platform for validation, development, and system integration.
Omni500 is built on combining an AMD Artix UltraScale+ FPGA, Linux-capable control processor, and a comprehensive set of interfaces.
Built for engineers who need deterministic results. The platform handles all real-time packet processing and timestamping in hardware, while the Linux control layer provides the flexibility of a full software stack — Web GUI, REST API, and SDK included.
Ethernet TSN Bridge
Complete subsystem that combines a TSN capable Ethernet switch, DMA engine and IEEE 802.1AS time synchronisation.
Ethernet Controller
High-performance Ethernet connectivity for scalable, low-latency networking applications.
TSN End Station
Ultra Compact solution that can interface with nearly any microcontroller or embedded processor system.
